Randy is retired after more than 40 years of pastoral ministry in the U.S. and now lives with his wife, Vickie, in the Central Valley of Costa Rica. He holds a Th.M from Piedmont Baptist College, an M.Div. from Luther Rice Seminary, and a Th.M. from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. He has authored several books including, The Fullness of the Time: A Biblical-theological examination of the Epistle to the Galatians, In These Last Days: A Biblical-theological Investigation of Hebrews, The Glory Revealed: An Exposition of Handel’s Messiah, The Saving Work of Christ (scheduled for publication in Spanish toward the end of 2014), and What Makes the Gospel Work? (also published in Spanish). He is currently writing a commentary on Hebrews. In addition to instructing local pastors in theology and biblical studies, he conducts weekly Bible studies in English and in Spanish.
